FULL TIME ONGOING POSITION
$55,000 - $65,000p/a + Super
(based on experience)

You will fill an integral role within Stone Society working on site and alongside the business owners and a small, rotating group of skilled craftspeople. You will learn and develop the practical skills of building with stone, installing stone flooring and exploring specialty masonry within a residential framework.
On the job training is provided with the opportunity to undertake RTO studies.

Position involves:
-Batch mixing and learning about mortars and grouts, paving mixes and screeds.
-Loading/unloading stone and associated building materials.
-Using power tools to cut and shape stone.
-Grouting and cleaning stone.
-Maintaining a clean and safe worksite.
(from 3 month point onward)
-building with stone (solid stone and veneer)
-installing stone flooring
-liaising with suppliers and producing order estimates.

A few must haves:
-current victorian drivers license and own transport.
-fit and healthy to perform all required work.
-good communication skills.
-patience, punctuality and a strong work ethic.

A few nice to haves:
-a growth mindset.
-enjoy highly detailed work.
